The book was said to be in good condition and come with the online code. The online code did work. However this book isn’t in near as good condition as it was said to be. It has water damage which has lead a lot of pages to get stuck together, and is pretty beat up. Of course I’m going to make due with it, but I wish a more accurate description had been made about the condition of the text book itself.
It has alot of great information in it. It takes you through all of your instruments step by step. For some parts it has a right and left handers section. Being left-handed, this is great for me. However, I would not say I'm hard on my books, but because this is spiral bound, no matter how hard I try pages keep getting partly torn out and the cover is bent up terrible. I bought it brand new, have had it one semester, and it is decrepit. For such a large book, I wish they would have come up with a much better way to bind it.
Great book perio can be a difficult read but this book helps and I aced perio with an A and it's literally a tough class.

It was good. Simple, but thorough. It was nice that it was broken down by right and left-handed clinicians.
Essential text for all dental hygiene students and educators.
I got the book in the condition it was listed as (new). The spiral binding is nice for keeping it open in preclinic, and the flap that goes over the edge of the pages is really great for keeping this book from getting utterly shredded in my backpack.
